Census of Azores bullfinch Juveniles Recruitment 2010 - download
This report aims to present the results of the census of Azores bullfinch Pyrrhula murina juveniles’ recruitment to the population in 2010, performed in September, and compare them with results from previous years. This population monitoring activity was conducted annually from 2006 to 2008, under the LIFE Priolo Project. After an interruption of one year it was possible to carry out again due to the Preventing Extinctions Programme.

Census of Azores Bullfinch 2010 - download
This report presents the results of the 2010 Azores bullfinch Pyrrhula murina census, which is included in the annual monitoring program of this endangered species. This was the third consecutive year of census after a refurbishment of the original methodology in 2008 which involved mainly changes in the distribution of the point-counts.

Common Bird Monitoring Scheme Report - download
The Common Bird Monitoring Scheme is a project started in 2004 by SPEA and consists in a long-term monitoring program of common breeding birds and their habitats in Portugal. Three years after it's beginning in the portuguese mainland and Madeira, the Common Bird Monitoring Scheme was introduced in the Azores. Nowadays this project has more than 20 volunteer collaborators. In this report we do a balance of the three years of the project in the Azores and present the preliminary results of data analysis for the years 2007 - 2008.
